Duluth Minnesota

Last year I headed out to Duluth a port city of Minnesota. A scenic wonder and host of the only freshwater aquarium in the US , Duluth also boasts of Lake Superior the world's largest lake and superior national forests.

I would recommend that you do take time to explore the following attractions:-

North Shore scenic drive: Follow the magnificent shoreline of lake Superior, travel through Superior National forest for a distance of 154 miles and explore beautiful scenery and attractions of towns namely Two harbors, Silverbay , grand marais along the scenic drive.
Route: From Duluth to Two Harbors on Co. Rd. 61 (old Hwy. 61), and from Two Harbors to Grand Portage on Hwy. 61

Along the route check out the old rail road and museum,

Superior National Forest and at Grand Marais: Explore the Gun flint trail or spend a refreshing time at the beach and take a flight in a sea plane.

Aerial lift Bridge & Duluth Waterfront - Offering more than beautiful lake views and charming shops and restaurants, Duluth's waterfront is an expression of art.

Lake Superior & Mississippi Railroad - enjoy a 90 minute ride aboard an excursion train filled with history, beautiful scenery and wild life.
